As of October, the model’s waiting period had extended to 18 months, pushing delivery timelines into 2026. To tackle this, Mahindra plans to ramp up production soon, aiming to reduce the waiting period for the highly anticipated five-door SUV.
As of November 2024, the Mahindra Thar Roxx is experiencing a waiting period of 9 to 15 months, according to the company. However, this waiting time is expected to decrease starting in January 2025, when Mahindra plans to boost production of its popular SUV, which competes with the Maruti Jimny. Additionally, deliveries of the exclusive 4×4 variants featuring the Mocha Brown interior will begin at the same time, offering a premium option for buyers looking for a unique touch in their Thar Roxx.
